The SOFTWARE we use to Edit and post-Process
What is Photoshop?
Photoshop is an extremely powerful image creation and photo editing platform developed by Adobe. Initially released in 1988 and originally developed for Macintosh computers, Photoshop is now available for Windows and macOS platforms.
Today, Photoshop is the most widely used photo editing platform in the world and has been the industry standard for so long that it has actually become a verb. How often have you heard the comment..."do you think that's been Photoshopped?"

Photoshop - Photo Editing & More!
A great image editing program should do more than just allow you to correct flaws in your camera created image, it should allow you to fully express your creative imagination and individual style. Photoshop does all this and more. Although overflowing with features and tools, the program can be straightforward to use and allows novice editors to achieve dramatic results very quickly. Just don't be put off by the potentially overwhelming interface of tools when you first open the program.
Photo editing software has seen some dramatic changes over the years and Adobe have been at the forefront for most of that time. What sets Photoshop apart from its competitors is the programs vast flexibility. Its support for selections, masks and layers is unmatched in the industry. Despite its reputation for complexity, Photoshop actually offers a very clean, slick interface, and and allows users to modify, remove or add tools to suit.
It will handle almost every digital image file format imaginable and utilizes layer systems, layer transparency, blend modes and more adjustment layers than you can shake a stick at. Photoshop ships with Adobe's Camera RAW, users now have the ability to edit RAW files straight from the camera. With a powerful history tool, users can 'undo' between 1-500 steps or edits should the need arise. 'Actions' and presets also allow users to apply a style or look to multiple images with the click of a single button.
When you're happy with your final image, Photoshop also offers a huge range of both 'Save' and 'Export' options allowing the user to perfectly fine-tune the final file for any destination from fine art print, sharing on social media, TV or the web.
These are just a few of the reasons that Photoshop is the first choice for professional photographers around the world.

Photoshop - How To Buy?
Way back in 2012 Adobe stopped selling it 'Creative Suite Software' bundles and launched the Adobe's subscription model. Today, this purchase model is being adopted by more and more of Adobe's rivals. There's no arguing that for many paying a small monthly fee is an extremely cost-effective alternative to software that was once prohibitively expensive.
